# 4.1 Mining rewards distribution

**$ECT will set aside 30% of the token supply as an incentive pool to reward users for their Mining.**

The mining rewards are distributed in rounds, with a mining reward of **200,000 EC**T given **once a day** currently. The mining reward per round will **halve once every two years**. The amount of mining reward per round for different years is shown in the following figure.
